Tableside Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Terror LLC ("we") for the Tableside app. By using the app you agree to them. They are in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every App Store app. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.

What Tableside is

A tool for keeping treatment notes and records. It stores and exports what you enter. It is not medical, legal or compliance advice, and it does not make you compliant with any law, regulation or licensing rule. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records, for how long you keep them, and for the rules that apply where you practice.

Your records

Your records belong to you. They are stored on your iPhone, and optionally backed up in encrypted form. You are responsible for keeping your recovery key safe: if you lose your iPhone and your recovery key we cannot recover your records. You are responsible for backing up and exporting your own data. Finalized notes are locked and corrected by amendment; that is a feature of the app, not a guarantee that a record will satisfy any particular audit or legal requirement.

Subscriptions

Tableside offers auto-renewing subscriptions, monthly and annual, with a free trial on the annual plan for new subscribers. The price is shown in the app before you subscribe.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

If your subscription ends you can still open, read and export all your records. Adding clients and notes and using backup need an active subscription.

Acceptable use

Don't use Tableside unlawfully, don't try to break or reverse-engineer the service, and don't use backup to store anything other than your Tableside records.

Availability and changes

We may change the app and the backup service over time. We will try to give notice of material changes. The backup service is provided as available and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, the app and service are provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you did not back up or export. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
