Tableside Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 30, 2026

Terror LLC ("we") makes Tableside, an iPhone app for massage therapists to keep treatment notes. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it. Questions: support@terrorapps.com.

The short version

  • Your records are stored on your iPhone. We do not have an account system and we do not know who you are.
  • Backup is optional. If you turn it on, your records are encrypted on your iPhone before they leave it, with a key that only you hold. We cannot read them.
  • We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking, and we do not sell or share your information.

What Tableside stores on your iPhone

Everything you enter: client names and contact details, health history and intake answers, signed consent forms and signatures, session notes, body-map markers, photos you attach, and your own name and license number. This stays on your iPhone, protected by the iPhone's data protection and by the optional Face ID or passcode lock you set in the app. Deleting the app deletes this information from the iPhone.

Optional encrypted backup

If you turn on backup:

  1. Tableside creates a random recovery key on your iPhone and saves it in your iCloud Keychain, so it can follow you to a new iPhone. You can also print it.
  2. Your records are encrypted on your iPhone with a key derived from the recovery key, then uploaded to our service, which runs on Cloudflare.
  3. We store the encrypted data, a random identifier for each item, the kind of item (client, note or photo), its size and the time it was last changed. We cannot decrypt the data and we cannot see names, notes or any other content.

Without your recovery key nobody can read the backup, including us and Apple. If you lose both the key and your iPhone, we cannot recover your records.

You can delete your backup at any time from Settings › Backup & Restore › Delete my backup. This removes the encrypted copy from our service. Records on your iPhone are not affected.

Information our service provider sees

Cloudflare, which hosts our service, processes technical information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address and request times, under its own privacy policy. We do not use this to identify you.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple. Apple processes your payment and tells the app whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account name.

What we do not do

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting software. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell, rent or share your information. We do not use your records to train any model.

Your choices

  • Turn on or off the lock, and backup, in Settings.
  • Export your records as PDF, or everything as a ZIP with CSV files, at any time, whether or not you subscribe.
  • Delete a client, which moves them to Recently Deleted for 30 days and then removes them. Delete your backup as described above.

Your responsibilities

Tableside is a record-keeping tool. It does not make your practice compliant with any law or regulation, and we do not provide legal advice. You are responsible for how long you keep records and for the requirements that apply where you practice. We do not access your clients' information, so we do not act on your behalf as a service provider for it.

Children

Tableside is for practitioners and is not directed to children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
